Summary:
Our investigation of the polluted water and comparing it to the reports of the sighted creatures led us to determine we were dealing with a case of daemonic corruption. With that determined, Scherbrim prepared a number of us to limit the damage of acid, and we proceeded onwards.
The initial site of the corruption held a few corrupted guardians, with the frog daemons mentioned in the initial request flying out from the waters to attack us mid-confrontation. After a brief skirmish, we put them to the sword and continued on into the lower level of the structure that seemed to be the epicenter of the phemonenon.
Beneath the structure was a shrine dedicated to Grotek and some sort of Locust, at which the remaining daemons were serving. We wiped them out, and did what we could to prevent further contamination from the shrine.
